Our intention is to give you a resin driveway that you can be proud of for many years to come. This requires certain things such as quality materials, quality workmanship and, last but not least, the right tools. We make sure that our workers always have the best tools available to help them do the job as quickly as possible, and as well as possible.
For the job of laying resin driveways, certain tools are pretty much essential. Here’s a look at some of the tools our workers use, and how they benefit them on the job.
The resin mixer, also known as a Baron mixer, is a piece of kit that our workers will never be without on a resin driveway laying job. In order for the driveway to be laid properly, the aggregate first needs to be mixed in thoroughly with the resin. This will help ensure the driveway looks great and lasts for years to come. Mixing a lot of aggregate with resin can be a very difficult job if done manually, though, and this is where the baron mixer comes in.
All our workers need to do is add aggregate and resin to the mixer, turn it on, and let it do the mixing for them. Once sufficiently mixed, they can then begin to lay the aggregate and begin to mix the next batch if needed.
Our workers will need to be moving a lot of aggregate from one place to another. This might mean filling bags and then moving them, and that will be a lot of hard work. With a wheelbarrow, though, the job of moving the aggregate becomes so much simpler. Simply shovel aggregate into the wheelbarrow, and it is ready to be pushed to where it is needed.
Gloves are often overlooked, but they are among the most important items that our workers can wear. Anybody with experience in such a physical job will be able to tell you that a nasty cut or scratch is just moments away unless you take adequate protection. With a pair of gloves made from thick material, however, such injuries are far less common.
It is not often you will find one of our workmen on a job without a trowel. Trowels are useful when laying resin driveways as they help to ensure a level and flat surface. They are also a very flexible tool and can be useful in a variety of other ways.
If you\'re laying a resin surface, YRC Trade Resin has all the tools and equipment you need for any job.
